Curtis Pounds was called home to the Lord on Wednesday April 12, 2023.
Born August 8, 1957, to Charles and Joyce Pounds. All who knew Curtis he was a loving son, husband, supportive father and grandfather “Pops”, and friend to so many.
Curtis had an overwhelming love for his family. He was an athlete throughout his life. He played baseball, basketball, and golf. He continued to teach that love to his children and was their biggest fan, never missing a game or tournament. When he wasn’t spending time at the ball field or golf course, he loved to spend time at Billy Rays, finding his Coors light level, floating the river, snuggling grandchildren, gambling at the casinos, and playing games with family. He had a love for life and always had a huge smile on his face with the most infectious laugh. He never met a stranger, and he always made a lasting impression. He will be missed by so many who ever came across his path.
