In Loving Memory of
Alejo Santos Coy
May 13, 1953 – June 23, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend, who entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2026, at the age of 73.
A man of unwavering integrity, strength, and compassion, he dedicated more than 30 years of his life to serving the people of Harris County as a Deputy Sheriff. He wore the badge with honor, courage, and humility, earning the respect of his fellow officers and the community he faithfully protected. His commitment to justice was matched only by his unwavering devotion to his family.
Above all, he was a loving and devoted father whose unconditional love, guidance, and sacrifices shaped the lives of his children. As a hardworking single father, he worked multiple jobs whenever necessary to provide for his family, always placing the needs of his four children before his own. His quiet strength, tireless work ethic, and selfless heart were an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He took immense pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow, celebrating every milestone and cherishing every moment spent together. His wisdom, gentle spirit, warm sense of humor, and kind heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is lovingly survived by his children: Alejo. Jesus (Elaine), Cecilia (Abel), and Angela.
He was a proud grandfather to Anthony, Alexa, Abrielle, Kitana, Caia, Sisqo, Loucius, and Leyla, and a devoted great-grandfather to Adalyn, Azura, and Elias.
He is also reunited in Heaven with his beloved grandson, Josiah, whose memory remained forever close to his heart.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, honor, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to family will live on through every life he touched. His life was a remarkable testament to service, perseverance, humility, and unconditional love.
He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Dad. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service, strength, and love will live on forever.
