Billy Eugene Murphy, 70, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, February 21, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p. m., Friday, February 27, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00p.m., Friday, February 27, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Billy was born December 16, 1944 in Texas City. He was a retired electrical industrial technician. Billy proudly served in the US Army. He was a graduate of Texas City high school.

He is preceded in death by Thurman and Elise Murphy.

Survivors include sons; Michael Murphy, Mark Murphy and wife Katie, daughter; Shannon Carroll and husband Scott, sisters; Suzie Joseph and husband Bob, Judy Norwood and husband Donnie, Dianne Murphy, grandchildren; Davis Carroll, Hannah Carroll, Braden Loehr, Kuper Murphy.
