Carolyn Bohn

Carolyn Bohn, 70, finished her walk to our heavenly father at her home surrounded by her loving family, who will miss her always on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Carolyn was born on January 6, 1947 in Oklahoma to her mother Mary Olson. She grew up in Galveston and graduated from Ball High. She married Robert "Bobby" Bohn in 1966 and soon moved to Texas City where her and her husband started Bohn's Building Materials in 1977. She is survived by her love of 51 years, Bobby Bohn who was at her bedside when she passed; her three children, son Robert M. Bohn and his wife Dana, son Paul A. Bohn; daughter Michelle Lyle and her husband Brent. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Robert A. Bohn, Michelle Bohn, Ashley Bohn, Alexandria Bohn, and Cory Lyle and daughter in law Deanna Bohn. She is also survived by her sister, Patsy Meier and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn had a love of music and shared it with her family as often as she could. She would sing to the family for hours. She adored angles and fairies. Her great love was her family that she cared for to the very end.

Her family would like to thank the caregivers with Heart of Texas Hospice for the amazing care given to her in her final week of life.
