Catarino Sauceda Jr.

Catarino Sauceda Jr., 71 years old, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 with a funeral service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Catarino Sauceda Jr. was born on February 06, 1946 in Texas City, Texas. He was a longtime employee of the Texas City School District until retirement and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in his free time.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Ralph Sanchez and Julio Sanchez and his wife Felipa Gomez.

Survivors include his mother, Guadalupe Sauceda; sisters, Julia Bliss and Carolyn De LaCerda; brother-in-law, Johnny De LaCerda; daughter, Elva Medrano; grandchildren Victor and Victoria Martinez; great-grandchildren, Royce and Layla Martinez; nephew and niece Bobby and Janie Alfrey, nephew Ralph Demetrius Sanchez, and various great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
