Charles Anderson, Jr.

Charles Glen Anderson passed away unexpectedly, at age 49, in his hospital room at Kindred Bay Area on September 23, 2018. Although he was having health issues, his death came as a shock to family and friends.

Charles was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 29, 1969 to his mother, Sandra Anderson. A local of the Dickinson area, he graduated from Dickinson High School and went on to pursue years of work with Wal-Mart corporation and Kroger. He had a good work ethic and enjoyed his interactions with customers.

Charles never had children of his own but always enjoyed playing games, cooking out and spending time with his sister Angela Anderson, niece Ashley Anderson and later, he did the same with his great niece, Summer Chadwick, who Charles had a strong bond with. Charles loved video games, music, and movies, leaving behind a collection of over 500 different movies. He loved a good comedy and had a contagious laugh. His smile was a contagious one and when he was happy, anyone around couldn't help but be happy too.

Charles is survived by his sister, Angela Anderson and niece, Ashley Anderson. He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.
