Charles Wayne Waggoner, 79, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026.

Charles Wayne Waggoner was born October 30, 1946, in Texas City, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army for 8 years, and later worked several years as a guard at the Seabrook Marina.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, George & Ruby Waggoner; his brother, George Waggoner; his sister, Susan Kelley; and his son, Dwayne Wyble.

Survivors include his son, Blake Wyble & wife Nicole; his brothers, Gordon, Robert, & Bill Waggoner; his grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. The family will be welcoming friends and family at 10:00 a.m. for a visitation. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
