Charlotte Westerlage

Charlotte Westerlage, 92, of La Marque, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Itasca, Texas, Charlotte lived most of her life in La Marque, where she built a legacy of faith, family, and service.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Westerlage III, her mother, Jewell Donham, and her sister, Claudette Gage. She leaves behind her devoted children, Cindy Eddy, Keith Westerlage, and Kenneth Westerlage and his wife Sally; her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Pierce, Kent Westerlage, Charles Eddy, and Katy McGee; and her adored great-grandchildren, Grayson, Annie, Charlie, Oliver, and Myles.

A woman of boundless warmth, Charlotte's greatest joy was her family. She eagerly anticipated their annual Thanksgiving gatherings, filled with laughter, love, and shared memories. Her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, guided her every step, and she lived her life as a testament to His love. Charlotte's servant heart shone through her many years of working with the youth at Paul's Union Church, followed by years of volunteering at Mainland Medical Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her kindness.

She found delight in playing bridge with friends and card games with her grandchildren, always fostering connection and joy. An avid traveler, Charlotte particularly loved cruising, embracing new adventures with enthusiasm.

Charlotte's legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Texas City on November 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritan's Purse in her honor.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
