Christine "Nina" Basaldu Kittle, 77, of Texas City, Texas, and formerly Galveston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Texas City, Texas. She was married to Gerald R. Kittle, Sr. for 35 years.

Christine was born on October 24, 1948, in Galveston, Texas.

She worked at UTMB for twenty plus years as an EKG technician. She retired as a security guard from ISP chemical plant in 2009.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald R. Kittle, Sr.; her parents; and her brothers.

She is survived by her children, Angela Clark (husband Gary), and Gerald Kittle, Jr.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

Christine was a devoted wife and mother, she loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed helping others and would give the shirt off her back.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Emken Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expwy., Texas City, Texas 77591.
