Conway Bryant

Conway Bryant, 95, of Texas City Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 16, 2012. Conway was born on September 14, 1916, in new Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Henry and Ivy Bryant.

Conway was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Houston Texas. He was also a 25 year member of the Texas City Lodge 1118.

Conway is preceded in death by his late wife of 49 years, Geneva Grice Bryant Daughter, Everjean Bryant Curl Son, Bennie Livingston, three sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Edna Bryant daughter, Elevern Curl and husband James Curl son, Bobby Bryant Sr. and wife Gail Bryant stepsons, Eugene Bivens and A.L. Bivens five grandkids, twelve greatgrandkids, ten greatgreat grandkids and numerous family and friends whom he loved.

A special thanks to the 4th floor nurses of Mainland Center Hospital and the Hospice team for all their loving care. A loving thank you to Sherelene Pratt for all you have done.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The celebration of life will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M., at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial services to follow at Galveston Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.

Pallbearers will be Damon Adkins, Mark Curl, Bobby Bryant Jr., Steven Adkins, Marcus Curl, and Wesley Knight. Honorary Pallbearers are Paul Adkins, Mikel Curl, Garrett Hudson, Brad Hudson, Trevor Adkins, Jason Enochs, Blake Adkins, and Jordan Enochs.
