Cyrilla Diane Soukup

Cyrilla Diane Soukup, 68, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Cyrilla was born March 1, 1956, in Galveston, TX. She was the first female Cable Splicer to be hired on by South Western Bell Telephone Company, now AT&T, in Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Cryil Daly; mother, Jessie Daly; and stepson, Dwayne Varnadore.

She is survived by husband, Stephen Soukup; daughter, Danielle Patterson and spouse Craig Patterson; granddaughters, Caylee Patterson, Rosa Patterson, and Raquel Patterson; sister, Marcella Worthy and spouse Richard Worthy; brother, Douglas Daly and spouse Shelly Daly; niece, Rachel Champagne; nephews, Michael McCarthy and wife and Danny McCarthy and wife; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or any charity of your choosing.
