Daniel Duncan

Daniel Terry Duncan, age 68, passed away quietly and peacefully from cancer in his own bed at home in Pasadena TX on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016.
Born April 30th, 1948 in Texas City TX, to Lenora Atkinson Duncan and Daniel Webster Duncan from Lufkin TX, he attended Texas City High School and graduated from Lamar University (where he met the love of his life) with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda Hime Duncan and their two children; daughter Deanna Lynn Duncan and her husband, Chris Pratt, son Daniel Stewart Duncan and his daughter (Dan's little princess) Elizabeth Nicole Duncan.

He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Phillips and her two daughters Debbie Dillon Jensen and her three children, Jessica, Drake and Brock Jensen, and Candace Phillips.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday, October 23rd at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 am Monday October 24th; also located at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmet F. Lowry Expressway, Texas City TX 77591. Burial will follow the service at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, 7301 Memorial Street, Hitchcock TX 77563

The Family understands that this may be quite a drive for most, but would appreciate those that loved Dan to be in attendance. We would love to celebrate his life with you, and look forward to hearing your stories of him.

In lieu of flowers and, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA.
