Deoma Richardson

Deoma Palmer Richardson, 87, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her residence.

Services will be held 11:00, Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 30, 2012 only at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Deoma was born March 27, 1925 in Texas City, Texas. She graduated from Texas City High School and worked for 23 years as a Secretary at College of the Mainland, prior to retirement. Deoma was a member of First Baptist Church and is the granddaughter of Charter Members of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Charles L. Richardson 3 daughters Katherine BruggmanZakharia of Houston, Texas, Lynda BruggmanAtaya of Dubai U.A.E., Chris BruggmanBurkett of Humble, Texas sister Aline Metzger of Santa Fe, Texas 8 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.
