Dolores Lambright

Dolores Walls Lambright, 88, of Texas City, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.

She was born on January 24, 1928 in Snyder, Texas. She was a loving homemaker and was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene in Texas City for 55 years plus.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Evah Walls; husband, Elvin Lambright; brothers, Dewey Walls and Clifford Walls; son in law, Robert McNeil and daughter in law, Sue Lambright.

She is survived by daughter, Charlotte McNeil of Texas City; sons, Ron Lambright and wife Phyllis of Charlotte, North Carolina, Tommy Lambright and wife Carla of Texas City, Texas; sisters, Wanda Sanders and Patsy Williams both of Athens, Texas; sister in law, Maxine Walls of La Porte, Texas; grandchildren, Monica Sample (Tommy) of La Marque, Texas, Steve McLane and Tony McLane (Angela) both of League City, Texas, Mandy Flolo, Candy Lambright, Robin McNeil and Robert McNeil (Lisa) all of Texas City, Texas, Michelle Black (Donald), Cheri Young (Freddie) both of Ft. Mill, South Carolina, Karen Jordan of Cornelius North Carolina, Jason Childress (Amanda) of Denver, North Carolina, Delona Hartley of Mint Hill, North Carolina, Mitzi Childress of Forest Hill, North Carolina and Cindi Childress of Forest City, North Carolina; thirty four great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers are Steve McLane, Tony McLane, Robert McNeil, Harold Sample, Donald Black and John Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie Young, Tommy Sample, Jonathan Sample, Kristian Lambright and Kameren Hardebeck.
