Elizabeth Gardner

Elizabeth "Betty" Gardner, 73, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at UTMB Galveston.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.

Betty enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. She was an avid sports fan, especially basketball. She never missed a rockets game. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by sons, Jimmy Stanfield and Donny Stanfield and wife Donnie Ann; daughter, Tracy Garza and husband Raul; grandchildren, Donny T. Stanfield and wife Brooke, Matthew Stanfield, Sophia Garza and Paige Bennett; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Stanfield, Donny Stanfield, Raul Garza, Brian Cathey, Mike Harris and Donny T. Stanfield.
