ERNESTINE WINNIE BERNIER

Ernestine Winnie Bernier, 87, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014, at The Rio of Mainland.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Winnie was born February 19, 1927 in Athens, Texas and moved to Texas City in 1941.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mae Jolly.

Survivors include her two children, Kathy Anaya and Mike McCoy and three grandchildren, Walter Hertenberger, Dusten Cook, and Michael McCoy.
