Eugenia Siordia

Eugenia Nava Siordia, 84, of League City, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Paul's Apostle Catholic Church in Nassau Bay. Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery.

Eugenia N. Siordia was born January 28, 1932 in Mexico City to Justin Nava Huerta and Victoria Vera.

She is survived by her two sons, Alfonso Nava and Jesse Siordia, Jr. and eleven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mom, you always had a smile. You were a small framed woman with a lot to give, you battled Cancer and with your faith in GOD you were able to beat it, but sadly it came back. We can list your achievements but you already know all that. You touched so many of us, including your children, grandchildren, and friends. You were able to travel the world and give back to our communities. You were one of the best.

I cried when you passed away, I still cry today. Although I love you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating today. Hard working hands at rest GOD saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. He wrapped his arms around you and whispered come to me. Gave you much needed rest, GODS garden must be beautiful he only takes the best.

Friends and family please share your memories of Eugenia N. Siordia. Speak of her often with a smile, now it's time for solemn remembrances. I'm sure you'll have our own way to honor her memory, but here are some great places to start: call your mom, hug your husband, hug your wife, spend time with your children, fill a bird feeder, plant some trees in your yard, meet a friend for lunch and make everlasting memories.
