George Moser

George Thomas Moser, 59, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday May 20, 2017 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet. Visitation will be 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 19, 2017 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

George Moser was born October 16, 1957. He spent four years in the United States Navy. On July 25,1976, he married the love of his life Elaine Greer. George worked and retired from Amoco Oil/BP. His hobbies included fishing, hanging with family and friends and spoiling his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Giles Moser and his brother, Mike Moser.

Survivors include mother, Rita Moser; wife, Jerri Elaine Moser; son, Ryan Thomas Moser and wife Lisa; daughter, Virginia Leigh Moser; grandchildren, Angel and Johnathon Moser and Melanie Elaine and Connor James Williamson; brothers, Coleman Moser and Pat Moser and sister, Connie Peterson.

Pallbearers are James Peterson, John Moser, Darrel Gongre, George Willis, Michael Moser, Brandon Johnstone, Randy Gongre and Edward Plasek. Honorary Pallbearers Patrick Moser, Coleman Moser, Kevin Johnstone, Justin Johnstone and Joshua Johnston.
