Glenn "Wheelie" Casteel

Glenn "Wheelie" Casteel, 80, was called home on June 23, 2023. Glenn was born on September 3, 1942, in Texas City, Texas to Jim and Lorraine Casteel. He served in the United Sates Navy, regularly attended the Saltgrass Cowboy Church in Santa Fe, Texas, and enjoyed his horses, riding his Harley and recently having fun driving his bright yellow Corvette.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dale Casteel; ex-wife, Jeannette Casteel; sister, Lilian Beard; brothers, Marty, Eddie, Billy, Jimmy, Larry and Arlan Casteel. Survivors include sister, Sue Hoover, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park. Celebration of Life at Diamond Jim's after 11:00 a.m.
