James Ponds

James Danforth Ponds, 83, of Texas City passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 5 at the Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East cemetery in Webster. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4 from 5 - 7 PM at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Mr. Ponds was born March 1, 1932 in Texas City and was a retired plumber.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.

Pallbearer are Joshua Ponds, Jim Ponds, William Ponds, Paul Campbell, Bill Fritch, Jimmy Hart, John Nelson, Juan Medina and Jack Taylor.
