Jason Garcia

Jason Lee Garcia, 48, of Bacliff, passed away December 15, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home.

Jason was born November 16, 1974, in Galveston, Texas. He was an Army veteran, paramedic, volunteer firefighter, EMS director, flight paramedic, and an ordained minister.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Garcia Greer, grandparents Melvin Eugene Trammell and Bessie Naomi Trammell. Survivors are sister, Amy Garza (David), brothers Jody Garcia (Eireen) and Michael Greer (Monica), children; Erin Garcia (Nikko) and Naomi Garcia and grandson, Kasey Saenz.

Pallbearers are Jody Garcia, Michael Greer, Frank Carrera III, Michael Stuart, Jeffrey Blackmon, and Frank Gulden.
