Jeanette Bailey

On Monday, August 8, 2011, Jeanette regained the ability to walk as she walked through the pearly gates of Heaven to meet her husband, Tim Bailey.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 7 p.m., Monday, August 15, at the funeral home.

Linda Jeanette Bailey was born December 21, 1949 in Galveston, Texas. After graduating from Texas City High School in 1967, she married her high school sweetheart and continued her education by earning a degree in nursing. She was a retired school nurse.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Bailey.

Survivors include her son Craig Bailey and wife Jessica of Georgetown, Texas daughter Christy Bailey grandchildren: Preston, Kennedy, Tucker, McKenzie, Kamdyn, and Bentley mother Mary Clark and stepfather, Bill Clark numerous other relatives and friends.

Jeanette loved her family and enjoyed her friends and will be deeply missed by all her knew her.
