Jim Voelkel

Jim Voelkel, 69, of Texas City, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 2, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Voelkel was born June 14, 1942 in Houston, Texas. He was a retired residential carpenter. He took great pride in his work.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and son Andy,.

Survivors include his son Chris Voelkel and wife Robin of Texas City grandchildren: Lane Voelkel, Tristen Voelkel, Miranda Voelkel, Scott Voelkel, and Ashton Cameron stepgrandchildren Megan Gibson and husband Matt and Kayla Thomas greatgrandchild, Madi Gibson.

At Mr. Voelkels request, there will be no funeral services held.
