Jules Herbert, Jr.

Jules "Frenchy" H. Herbert, Jr., 80, of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his place of residence. Private services will be held by the family.

He was born September 21, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a retired Insulator with asbestos workers - local 22. He received an honorable discharge from the Navy in January 1963 where he was seaman with the 8th Naval District. Jules was also a retired Baseball Director with Pony Colt where he was honored at the Pony Colt wall of fame in Washington, Pa. His hobbies included a love of fishing, baseball and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jules H. Herbert, Sr. and Josephine, Inlaws James R. Ring, Sr. and Josephine, Brother, Kenneth Herbert and daughter, Terri Lynn Wilkinson Praesel. Not to be forgotten are nieces and nephews, past daughters in laws and son in laws.

A love story of his, hers and theirs include survivors, wife of 51 years, Louise C. Herbert; daughters, Kay Falgoust and husband Dennis, Cynthia Wilkinson Bahr and husband Steve, Cathleen Claunch Scott and husband Jack, Nancy Weade and companion Anthony Smith, sons, Jimmy Wilkinson, Jr, Mark S. Wilkinson, Sr. Rodney W. Herbert and Jules H. Herbert, III; sisters, Josephine, Sandra, Patsy, Betty, Susie and Beverly; brothers, Michael and Tony; grandchildren, Amey Remmert Hrncir, Scott D Hrncir, Stephen Wilkinson (Julie), Megan Wilkinson (Chris), Jessica Dial (Chris), Tyler Claunch, Connor Wilkinson, Austin Claunch, Ryan Claunch, Shanell Herbert (Chris Carr), Rodney Herbert, Amanda Falgoust, Dennis Falgoust, II (Bridget), Bradly Herbert (Kristin) and Candice Herbert (Macon); great grandchildren, Zoey Hrncir, Easton Springer, Joshua Dial, Riley Dial, Emily Dial, McKenna Wilkinson, Maddox Wilkinson, Samantha Mosley, Isabella Bowen, Crislynn Carr, Jules E. Herbert, Joshua Purcell, Mackaylnn Hoffpaur and Krislynn Hoffpaur.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Encompass Hospice, Candace, Maria and Lee.
