Julia Miranda

Julia Miranda, 95, of Texas City, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at The Rio of Mainland.

Funeral Mass services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Julia Miranda was born July 5, 1921 in Runge, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Miranda and parents, Jose De Jesus Perez and Severiana Longoria; brothers, Jesse Perez, Jr., Manuel Perez, Roque Perez and Candelario Perez

Survivors include sisters, Frances Perez Ledezma and Ophilia Perez DeLeon; Nieces, Juanita Ledezma Herrera; great nieces, Alexis Herrera and Ahlina Herrera; great nephew, Alex Herrera and other relatives and friends.
