Judy Jacobson Tesoro passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born in Galveston, Texas, Judy grew up across the bay in Texas City, Texas, where she graduated from high school in 1961. Following graduation, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston in 1965.

Judy married Dr. Leonard Tesoro in 1967. After several moves and the birth of their two children, they settled in McAllen, Texas.

Devotion to her children and grandchildren defined Judy’s life. She is survived by her son, Len Tesoro; her daughter, Kimberly Kleberg; her son-in-law, Chris Kleberg; and her three grandsons, King Kleberg, Justus Kleberg, and Colt Kleberg.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, in Texas City with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m.

The interment will be private.
