Lillian Lavelle (Lyons) Yielding

On September 30, 2020, Lillian Lavelle Jordan (Lyons) Yielding, a loving wife, the dearest mother, the kindest friend, one of the best that God could lend entered into heavens gates.

Lavelle was born February 18, 1938 in Profitt, Texas to the late Roscoe & Della Jordan, and was the youngest of 6 siblings. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, attending church and spending time with and caring for her family.

Proceeded in death by her father, Roscoe; her mother, Della; her brothers, Bloyce and Roy; her son, Joseph and her former husband, Leon.

Survived by husband Kenneth; brothers, Cagle and Tommy; her 5 children, Rodney, Tommy, Lynda, Laura and Andy; and her 2 stepchildren, Rebecca and Ricky; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Private family services to follow.
