Linda C. Crouch

Linda C. Crouch, 74, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Clear Lake Hospital.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, with a visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. A burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.   

 

Linda was born April 14, 1949, in Texas City, Texas. Linda retired from the UTMB Psychiatric Department where she was a secretary. She also worked at AMF Bowling Center in Texas City. If she wasn’t watching her grandsons play baseball, she was watching the Houston Astros on TV. Some of her favorite hobbies included bowling, scrapbooking, and putting together recipes for her husband to cook for her.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Cleo Young and David Johnny Hall, Sr.; her brother, Gary Wayne Hall Sr; and son, Jeffrey Crouch. 

 

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Linnard Crouch, Sr.; son, Linnard Crouch, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Desiree’ Crouch/Knight (Ray Knight); several grandchildren, Chloe and husband, Dylan, Matthias and spouse Dixie, Meagen, Kenneth and spouse Arleth, Nicholas, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Hayden, Easton and Chandler; and two great-grandchildren, Elias and Matthew. 

 

Pallbearers are Linnard Crouch, Jr., Ray Knight, Jr., Kenneth Knight, Nicholas Crouch, Easton Crouch, and Chandler Knight

 

She will be missed by so many.
