Linda Louise Pinney, 69, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home in Texas City, Texas, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
A viewing will be held at 3:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.
Linda was born on January 16, 1957, in Fontainebleau, France, to Lewis and Wilma Bell. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lewis and Wilma Bell.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Randy Pinney; her sons, Shawn Peters and wife Christine, and Randal Pinney; and her daughter, Tonya Williams and husband Quinn. Linda was a proud and loving Nana to her six grandchildren: Isabella Pinney (18), Chrysina Peters (14), Raegan Pinney (11), Kinley Williams (10), Waylon Williams (9), and Elon Peters (8). She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Jamison; her brothers, Lewis Bell and wife Cathy, and George Bell and wife Beverly; as well as extended family members and many dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love, loyalty, and selfless spirit were the foundation of her family. A faithful believer and child of God, Linda lived her life guided by love, compassion, and generosity, marked by kindness and a complete absence of judgment toward others.
Gentle and caring by nature, she welcomed everyone with warmth and acceptance, always offering a helping hand, and encouraging word.
Known for her remarkable strength, unwavering work ethic, and positive outlook on life, Linda served as a mentor and inspiration to many. She taught her children and grandchildren the values of perseverance, tenacity, and maintaining a positive attitude through life's challenges. No matter the circumstance, she faced each day with resilience, grace, and a smile on her face.
Linda had a special love for the ocean, where she found peace, joy, and renewal. In retirement, she discovered a passion for art that allowed her creativity to flourish. Through the vibrant world of pour painting, she created beautiful works of art and found great fulfillment in sharing her talents with others.
Linda's legacy lives on through her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched with her love, guidance, creativity, and generosity. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
