Mary Reyes

Mary R. Reyes, 76, a native of Texas City, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her residence in Friendswood, Texas.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Mt. Olivet in Dickinson, Texas. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Mary R. Reyes was born January 5, 1939. She was a retired registered nurse at UTMB. She graduated from Texas City High School. She received her Nursing Degree from John Sealy Hospital and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Reyes; mother, Paula Reyes; aunt Eugenia Rodriguez; brother, Herman Reyes M.D.

Survivors include brother, Joe Reyes and wife Cora; sister, Rebecca Lopez; nephews, Manuel Lopez and wife Sue, Fernando Reyes, Carlos Reyes and wife Deann; special niece and caregiver, Anna Lopez; great nephew, Joshua Reyes; great nieces, Alena Lopez and Gabrielle Reyes.
