Alice was born May 28, 1966 in Galveston, Texas. She was a 1984 graduate of Texas City High School, attended Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas and graduated from Wade College in Dallas, Texas with an associate degree in Fashion Merchandising.
She began her career as a co-founder and owner of Tarpey's Shoes, Etc. in Texas City. She was a dedicated fashion industry professional who built an impressive career in retail through various sales roles. Alice began a new chapter in 2005 when she entered the world of real estate. The real estate industry was a perfect fit for Alice where her natural ability to connect with others quickly made her stand out from the rest.
Outside of work, she was known for her love of loud, heavy metal music and watching game shows with her family. Among family and friends, she is famous for her unforgettable cookies and being a self-proclaimed shoe enthusiast. With a talent for gardening, a love for entertaining, and an eye for design, she poured her heart into making her home a welcoming haven for her family.
More than anything, she cherished being a mother. It was the role she held most dear, and the one she fulfilled with grace, dedication, and boundless love. Her children were her greatest pride and constant motivation. She celebrated their every joy, stood strong through every challenge, and taught them by example what it means to love deeply and selflessly. Her legacy lives on through the impact of her love, and it will be felt for generations to come.
As a daughter, she was kind, thoughtful and compassionate. As a sister, she was a true friend, someone who shared in both the highs and lows of life with patience, understanding and a deep sense of loyalty.
To know her was to laugh, to feel love, and to be uplifted. She was our spark and our light, and she will be forever missed.
