Michael Bertolino

Michael Wayne Bertolino, 52 years old, passed away Saturday, December 3rd, 2011.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M, Thursday, December 8, 2011 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster. Visitation will be from 6:008:00 P.M., Wednesday, December, 7, 2011 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Mr. Bertolino is survived by his wife of thirty years, Janet Bertolino. He leaves behind two children Aaron Bertolino and Kyndall Bertolino, and granddaughter Madilyn Bertolino his mother, Lorraine Bertolino sister Lorraine Riley and husband Kevin and brother Daniel Bertolino, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Bertolino. Michael was born in Galveston, Texas on February 17, 1959. He began a career in education with G.I.S.D., and also worked for UTMB and D.I.S.D. Michael retired from D.I.S.D. in Summer 2011. Michael was married to Janet Smith in August of 1981 and was a devoted husband and father of the past thirty years. Michael enjoyed crafts, westerns, and traveling. Most of all, he cherished his family. Pallbearers will be Aaron Bertolino, Daniel Bertolino, Charles Bertolino, Jerry Slaton, Jack Smith, Kevin Riley, and Justin Sailer. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Riley, Christian Bertolino, John Bertolino, and Gary Wilson. He will be forever missed and always in our hearts. We love you Mike, Dad, Papa, Brother, Son, Cousin, Friend.
