Neva Jones

Neva Jo Jones, 64, of Texas City, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, December 13 at the Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Neva Jo Jones was born February 7, 1947 to Willie Doc Hodges and Geneva Hodges Brown in Woodville, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bobby Jones, mother, Geneva Brown, father, Doc Hodges, stepfather, Vic Brown and brother, Larry Hodges.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Connie Bardwell and partner, Julie Dunnehoo, Robert Bubba Jones and wife, Mona, Michael Bert Jones and wife, Misty, JaNell Allen and husband, Keith, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Sisters Laverne Dover, Ruthie Hocutt Elton, Debra Smith Ronnie, and brother Gerald Hodges.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Smith, Jamie Price, Billy Burnett, Hobie Dover, Justin Jones, and Bryan Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Jordan Allen, Keith Allen, and Robby Bardwell.

The family would like to thank the special doctors and nurses of Mainland Medical Center Hospitals CCU Unit . Dr. Nickeson, Dr. Lewis, and Dr. Pavlouri and nurses Aubrey, Miguel, and Anita.
