Opal Presley

Opal Presley, 93, a longtime resident of Texas City, passed away, Monday, May 4, 2015, at Mainland Medical Center.

Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mixon Cemetery in Mixon Texas.

Opal Presley was born October 1, 1921 in Mixon, Texas to Robert Barrington and Edna Lambeth. She was a retired Teacher.

Survivors include son, Richard Presley; grandchildren, Renay Presley Zamora, Shelley Presley, Steven Presley and wife Julie; Stephanie Presley Jernigan; six great grandchildren, Sam Herington, Ruby Zamora, Averi Presley, Carli Briggs, Xander Jernigan, Vaughn Presley; Nieces, Gloria Smith and husband David, Ramona Castoria and husband Carmello, Donese Barrington; former daughter-in- law, Yvette Presley
