Pamela Ann Crisp, 69, of Texas City, Texas, born on January 27, 1956, passed away August 2, 2025. Born and raised in Texas City, Pamela spent her entire life in the community she loved, surrounded by family and friends who cherished her deeply. Pam was known for her strength, generosity and her undeniably loving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joan Pulley; her father, Vaden Pulley, Brother Dwayne Pulley; and her nephew, Christopher Best. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda McLin (Tim), and her son, Marcus McLin (Kristen). Pamela is also survived by her sister, Tammy Stewart (Daryl); her brother, Vaden Pulley; and her aunt, Diane Bardwell. Her niece, Crystal Parsley (Jason), and her grandchildren—Taylor McLin (Trais), Devin Nicholson, Madison Mills, Ryan Nicholson, and Marelle McLin—knew her lovingly as “Gram.” She was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Taliah Carmichael, along with countless great-nieces and great-nephews who brought joy to her life.
Pam worked in accounting services for many years before becoming a housekeeper. Most of her clients were family or friends who became like family. She never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.
Pam enjoyed being outdoors—whether it was fishing, hunting, or even skydiving. But her heart truly bloomed in her garden—boy, did she love to garden. Whether tending to flowers or vegetables, she found peace, purpose, and pride in everything she grew. She also loved baseball and found immense joy in watching her children and grandchildren compete and grow through sports.
She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, who she spent so much of her time with—from vacations, pool days, fishing trips, and the endless meals she lovingly cooked for them.
Pam will be desperately missed by all those she left behind. Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of a kind, and to know her was to love her. Rest in peace, Gram—we are going to miss you so much.
The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them for a visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. After the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial lunch at the Nessler Center (Captain’s Room), also in Texas City.
