Patricia Ann (Chuoke) Pulich

Patricia Ann (Chuoke) Pulich, 91, peacefully passed from this world on Friday, December 22, 2023. Patti was born in Galveston, Texas, on March 17, 1932, to Mitchell and Josephine Chuoke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Josephine Chuoke; her loving husband, Theodore; their daughter, Patti Kay; and her two siblings, Mitchell Chuoke and Marie (Chuoke) Skarke.

Patti’s life was characterized by her loving care for others, shown primarily through her devotion to her family and friends. Selflessly, she gave much of her time to helping others through her involvement in various activities. For more than sixty years, she was a member of St. Mary of the Medal Miraculous Catholic Church, which she attended daily at certain times of the year to pray for others. She was also a member of the St. Ann's Altar group. As a skilled seamstress, she utilized her talent to participate in a prayer blanket ministry that supported people in need. Patti spent many Saturday mornings volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul in Texas City, helping prepare boxes of food for the needy.

In addition to her service activities, Patti enjoyed spending time with her friends as well. She was an avid bridge player who enjoyed many nights playing with wonderful friends. She was also an accomplished cook who enjoyed preparing delicious meals for friends and family.

Many of her happiest times in life were spent with her best friend, Sally Stiernberg. Like sisters, they spent countless days together, laughing, shopping, and just being together in each other's homes. Their friendship was a treasured gift to them both.

Survivors include her son, Victor Jay Pulich; granddaughter, Kimberly Barthel; and numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses.

A memorial mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., with a visitation at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Church in Texas City, Texas.

Patti always had a love for colorful clothing. Feel free to honor her by wearing bright colors if you are planning to attend the mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Com For Care Assisted Living, 7103 Leader Street Houston, Texas 77074, who provided such amazing care for Patti.
