Randal "Randy" Hays Prince, 66, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 3, 2026.

Randy was born in Robert Lee, Texas, and graduated from Jayton High School. He went on to attend Texas Tech University, where he earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering, beginning a successful career in the oil and gas industry. Throughout his career, he worked for multiple oil companies, serving primarily as a Tax Appraisal Representative. He was known for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.

Randy met the love of his life, Beth, in Euless, Texas, where they married and began building a life together. They welcomed four children, all born in Austin, Texas, before moving their family to Tomball, Texas. After retirement, Randy and Beth made their home in Texas City, where they enjoyed the next chapter of life together.

A devoted Christian, Randy's faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. He loved the Lord deeply and sought to reflect God's love through the way he lived and served others. He was a faithful husband, a loving father and grandfather, a caring son and brother, and a loyal friend. Randy will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His steady presence, kind heart, and dry sense of humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed fishing, golfing, hiking, and playing pickleball. Whether spending time outdoors, competing with friends, or making memories with his family, he found great joy in life's simple blessings.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Hays Prince, and his sister, Kathi Harris.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Beth Prince; his daughter, Katie Melchor, her husband, Mike, and their son, Bentley; his son, LT Benjamin Prince and his wife, Maricela; his son, Daniel Prince; his daughter, Lydia Taylor and her husband, Shawn; his mother, Betty Prince; his sister, Gayla Stanaland and her husband, H.T.; his sister, Sharon Bass and her husband, Eddy; his brother-in-law, Cliff Harris; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Trudy Cusick; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dave and Toni Cusick; along with extended family and many cherished friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Texas City.  Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Compassion International in honor of Randy's lifelong faith and generous spirit.

Though Randy will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and rejoices in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

One of Randy's final wishes was to be an organ donor. In a fitting reflection of the generous, selfless, and faith-filled way he lived, he chose to give the gift of life to others through organ donation. Even after his passing, Randy's compassion and servant's heart continued to make a difference, offering hope to others through this extraordinary gift. His final act of generosity stands as a lasting testament to his faith, his love for others, and the legacy of kindness that will continue to touch lives for years to come.
