Raymond Lasoya

Raymond LaSoya, 71, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Bay Area Reginal Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am., Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Raymond LaSoya was born August 28, 1946 in Texas City, Texas. He was a retired Chemical Process Operator for Union Carbide.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eligio LaSoya. Survivors include mother, Alice LaSoya (Compuzano); wife, Hope (Jaramillo) LaSoya; sons, Ray Anthony LaSoya and wife Terra, Mario LaSoya and wife Francis; daughter, Raeann Romero and husband Jerry; sisters, Martha Robles and husband Ramon, Linda Jaramillo and husband Jaime, Annie Garcia and husband Ben; brother, Leo LaSoya; grandchildren, Railynn, Elisha, Raquel, Ray Anthony, Alexis, Alayna, Alyssa, Colton and Carter; six great grandkids, many nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.

Pallbearers are Ray Sereniil, Melvin Castillo, Ramon Robles, Ramon Robles, Jr., Esteban Jaramillo and Jaime Jaramillo.
