Rebecca Lopez

Rebecca Lopez, 74, of Friendswood, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at UTMB Galveston.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2017, at Forest Park East, with a burial to follow. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Rebecca was born March 10, 1943 in Texas City, Texas to Jose and Paula Reyes. She graduated from Texas City High School and retired from Union Carbide. She adored her granddaughter, her pets and anything Disney.

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Lopez Sr.; sister, Mary Reyes; brother, Herman Reyes M.D.; father, Jose Reyes; mother, Paula Reyes and aunt, Eugenia Rodriguez.

Survivors include her son Manuel Lopez Jr. and wife Susan of Texas City; daughter Anna Marina Lopez of Friendswood; brother, Joe Reyes and family of Austin; and granddaughter Alena M. Lopez of Texas City.

The family would like to thank the medical and hospice staff at UTMB.
