Ronald Sharp

Ronald J. Sharp, 75, of Texas City passed away October 18, 2017 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Ron was born March 9, 1942 in Buffalo, TX. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, worked as a telephone technician, and later was a gatekeeper for the Biosphere Recycling Center in Texas City.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, V.E. and Ernestine Sharp as well as his son Steven Paul.

Survivors include his wife Daphna; son John and his wife Debbie; son Michael and his wife Laren; son Travis and his wife Jeanne; son Andy; and grandchildren Brittany, Catherine, Conner, Madeline, Audrey, Jack, Abigail, and Colt. His four sons will be pallbearers.
