Roy L. Tipton, Jr, 79, of Texas City, TX entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 15, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Roy was the owner of T's Guns and Ammo of Texas City.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, and stepchildren Richard and Lisa.

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Tipton, daughter Lisa Goodman and husband Shannon, son Christopher Tipton and wife Lindsay and 3 grandchildren.

A memorial service for Roy will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway.
