Samuel Valadez Sr.

Samuel Valadez Sr., 81, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Monday December 19, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Funeral Home in Texas City.

He was born March 6, 1935 in Texas City, Texas.

Samuel is proceeded in death by his parents Edmundo and Guadalupe Valadez; sister Rachel Hernandez; brother Edmundo Valadez Jr; son in law Channing (Chaney) Bryan Williams, Sr.;and maternal Grandmother Regina Martinez whom raised him.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 60 years Theresa Leyva Valadez; sons Samuel Valadez Jr. (Laura), Raymond Anthony Valadez; daughters Tina Marie Hughes, Cynthia Antonette Valadez, and Brenda Lyn Daugereaux and husband Chance, Sr., 8 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren; sisters Elisa Medina husband Robert, Marie Cavazos, Irene Navarro; and brother Henry Valadez and wife Eva.
