Sandi Gibby-Whittington

Sandi Renée Gibby-Whittington, 36, of Texas City, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2021. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2021 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Sandi Renée Gibby-Whitington was born June 7, 1985 in Galveston, Texas.  She was a teacher for many years.

She is preceded in death by grandfather, Earl Johnson; grandfather Jack Gibby and grandmother, Imogene Gibby.

Survivors include husband, Jesse Whittington; daughter, Rebecca Gibby-Whittington; son, Tyler Gibby-Whittington; daughter, Lorelai Gibby-Whittington; father, Micheal Gibby; mother, Karin Gibby; sister, Lisa Gibby and grandmother, Louise Johnson.

Pallbearers are Erik Manson, Jarrod Reeder, James Yarbrough, Victor Kamantauskas, Perry Dykes and Jay Blackwell.
