Steven Shipley

Steven Lane Shipley, 46, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster Texas.

Steven was born September 19. 1972 in Lubbock, Texas. He was a teacher at Beta Academy in Houston and really loved all the students there. He was previously a pastor at a church in Lamesa, Texas. During that time, he led numerous "Road to Emmaus" sessions in Texas and really enjoyed the times he spent there. He lived his life to the fullest enjoying many things such as playing his computer games and fishing. He enjoyed the open road by driving his Mustang and loved watching live P.D. He loved being a Father and that was evident in his love of telling "Dad jokes."

He is preceded in death by his grandparents "Pete" and Leona Shipley and Thomas and Evelyn Crews; brother Richard Kyle Shipley.

Survivors include his daughter Taylor Shipley; parents Richard and Jane Shipley of Ransom Canyon, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
