Suzanna Martinez-Miller

Suzanna Martinez Miller, age 59 of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025. Suzan was a devoted wife, proud aunt, loving daughter and cherished friend to many.

Suzan or Aunt Teevee as she was lovingly called was born in Galveston, TX. She was a 1984 graduate of Texas City High School and Galveston College. She was an Operation Supervisor at UTMB Health and a Surgical Technology instructor at Galveston College. She made a positive impact on many of her students' lives and was loved by all. Suzan was an avid book reader and pet lover and always made everyone feel loved. Suzan enjoyed hosting gatherings in her home and spending time with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tony Martinez, and her grandparents, Jesusa Gray Martinez and Gregory Ruiz Martinez. Suzan is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Rick Miller; mother, Matilda Bibby; brother, Mykael Martinez and wife Desiree; niece and nephew, Gabbi and Zack Martinez; sister-in-law, Hilda Crump and husband Tom Crump; niece and nephew, Brenda and Michael Crump and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the chapel of Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, in Texas City, TX., with a Celebration of Life for Suzan to follow at 11:00 a.m.
