Syble Still

Syble Custis Still, Ma Maw, 88, of Texas City, Texas, passed away January 1, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at The Fellowship of Texas City. Visitation will be 4:00 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012, at The Fellowship with a musical celebration of her life from 7:00 8:00 P.M. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Holland Cemetery in Kountze, Texas.

Mrs. Still was born May 7, 1923 in Nona, Texas. She was a resident of Texas City since 1968 and a member of The Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Daniel and Viva Overstreet and her first husband, Ronnie Custis.

Survivors include her husband, Jack B. Still of Texas City two daughters, Eloise Herrin and husband Delbert of Texas City, Sandra Roberts and husband Joe of League City two stepdaughters, Sharon Sorrells and husband Gene of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Renee Morris and husband, Bill of Nashville, Tennessee twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and two greatgreat grandchildren.

Casket bearers are Donnie Rogers, Ronnie Rogers, Steven Rogers, Kevin Herrin, Matt Morris, and Joel Sorrells.
