Theresa Craig

Theresa Dodge Craig, 94, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, 5100 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, Texas City, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2023, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.

Theresa Dodge Craig was born on November 25, 1928, in Galveston but moved to Texas City as a toddler. Theresa was married to her beloved Willie for 72 years, and her life revolved around him and her family. No one came to her home without being offered food, ice cream or margaritas or all the above. She loved to entertain her friends, and she loved to dance. She and Willie were beautiful to watch on the dance floor.

She lived a full life of fun, hard work, and lots of joy and happiness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Thorne and Eddy Dodge; her husband, William Craig; her siblings, Florence Thorne and Elton Dodge. She is survived by her son, Jim Craig and his partner Clara Juarez; her daughter, Janet Morris and husband Paul; grandchildren, Gary Morris and wife Karin, and Brian Craig and wife Amanda; as well as five great grandsons and one great granddaughter. She leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
