Willard Krell

Willard E. Krell, 95, of Texas City passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. He was born on April 8, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri to Chester A. and Leota Elliot Krell.

Willard was an active member of St. Georges Episcopal Church in Texas City. He was a volunteer at the Texas City Museum for 14 years and loved making crafts to give them away. Before retiring he worked at Union Carbide.

Willard is preceded in death by his mother and father his first wife Evelyn Krell his brothers Willis Krell and Lloyd Krell and his sister Edith Kessel.

He is survived by his wife Olive Krell his son Bob Krell and wife Teresa his three daughters Joyce Morse and husband Dennis, Barbara Krell and her friend Max and Patty Ondrey and her friend John his four stepchildren and their spouses 14 grandchildren 6 stepgrandchildren 14 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A viewing and visitation will be held at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Georges Episcopal Church, 510 13th Ave N, Texas City, Texas with the Reverend Robin Reeves officiating. A burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

The family would like to thank Hospice Care for helping them so much Special thanks to Toni Harrison, Cody Beverly, Christina and Evelyn.
