Yolanda Rosas

Yolanda Perlita Rosas, 64, of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Bayou Pines Care Center in La Marque, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, December 26 at the Funeral Home in Texas City.

Yolanda was born January 24, 1952 in Galveston, Texas. She was a LVN at Mainland Medical Center for 40 years. She enjoyed going out with family and friends, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Enjoyed watching and going to her grandson's baseball and football games. Loved her kids very much. Yolanda will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rudolfo and Dora Rosas.

Survivors include her daughter Yolanda Lynette Valdez; #1 pride and joy grandson Blake Pierce Valdez; sons, Arthur Ray Valdez, Jr., and Gene Nathan Valdez; grandson, Arthur Ray Valdez 3rd; granddaughter Amanda Ray Valdez; and sister Stella Louise Perez, all of Texas City.
